As you may or may not know - clothing designs cannot be patented ....
this design was originally drawn by London designer Belinda Bellville and it was marketed by Vogue Patterns (which now sells for $25 up)
this is the Simplicity version... with a slight variation
I will be more than willing to instruct the buyer how they can make the original version of this dress with little change....
in fact - on some levels it is less complicated ~ but far more dramatic
it is an ingenious design which incorporates the darts into the construct of the dress....
and the options for decorating are endless..... whether it is decorative overstitching in a contrasting color
or an addition of a prestitched embroidery accent or some sort of sequins design under the bust
one of my favorite patterns of all time .... I constructed it in three different forms and they were all stunning
this is a VERY EASY project - anyone with experience sewing will find the construction very intuitive....
