Vintage Nativity Figures

Seven vintage nativity figures including an angel Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, a donkey and two sheep. The angel is 3-5/8" tall, Joseph is 4-1/4" tall, Mary is not quite 4-1/4" tall, baby Jesus' crip is just under 2" tall, the laying down sheep is 2" long, the standing sheep is 1-7/8" tall, and the donkey is 3-1/2" tall and 4-1/2" long.

They are marked Made in Japan. The baby Jesus crib has a tiny nip of the top finish on one corner, the angel's left wing has a similar nip, joseph is missing his staff - a small piece of wire bent at the top does the trick - he is shiny, Mary has a nick along the left edge of her cape, the standing lamb has damage to 3 legs. The coloring is very nice on all the pieces .

I don't know for sure, but believe they are paper mache.
