About The Artist:
Auguste Moreau (1822-1901) was a French student of Mathurin Moreau, his older brother and regularly exhibited in the salons. Bronzes by Auguste Moreau and other members of his talented artistic family are beautifully rendered examples of the Art Nouveau style from turn-of-the-century France. We are pleased to offer a large collection of sculptures by several members of this talented and prolific dynasty.
This statue is reproduced in solid bronze by the "Lost Wax" casting process. It is made to order, handmade and hand finished and then mounted on a fine marble base, all dimensions are approximate. Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion and delivery. Note: Shipping quoted is for the continental U.S. only. We cannot ship this item to AK, PR, HI, APO/FPO or PO Boxes.
