This Female Horse With Colt Sculpture by Fratin features an Arabian mare nuzzling the rump of her very young colt shortly after giving birth. Both horses are alert and standing on all four legs. The mare has her tail raised, and the foal is stretching out his back as they stand in the grass. This is a lovely sculpture ideal for horse lovers.
This sculpture is reproduced in solid bronze, cast in brown patinas and then hand-rubbed to bring out the incredible detail and highlights.The statue is then mounted on a fine marble base with an etched brass plate. Dimensions:10" H x 14"W. Marble base may be different than shown
