The consistency is thick and not grainy while the scent is crisp and still retains that original Smoke fragrance! I have personally tested the product and while I feel that the overall tingle may have lost just a hair of it's original power, it still packs a mean punch! I find that I normally get 4 full body applications with each of these "mini" 3 oz bottles. This lotion is definitely recommended for ADVANCED TANNERS ONLY as the moderate tingle factor is not conducive to the beginning or those with sensitive skin!
