Foster Nostrand original oil painting of a sail boat on Long Island Sound. The boat is named "Victor". Foster Nostrand (1931-2011) studied at the Pratt Institute and lived in Stamford, CT until his death. This was purchased from her daughter. The painting is in good condition. There are a few brown paint spatters in the upper right part of the canvas. The painting measures 29-1/2" x 23-1/2". The 1-1/2" wood frame has some detailing. The frame is slightly chipped on the upper right corner.
