Marilyn Burroughs was a jazz and traditional pop singer. She was the wife of Clark Burroughs, the lead singer and founder of the Hi-Lo's. Her bio indicates she appeared on the Mike Douglas show, Regis Philbin, ABC's Nightlife, and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Tracks Include: 1. I Feel Pretty 2. Like Love 3. Cross Your Heart 4. An accompanying letter came with a group of these test pressing. We will be providing a photo-copy of the letter, which reads in part, "We have shipped your sample pressing(s) for your approval as checked below. We request either a statement of approval or a written waiver of approval for the sample pressings(s) before a production order can be placed in our factory. This test pressing to be judged mainly for recorded content only and not for manufacturing quality. Manufacturing defects may be present since this is a hand-made record and not necessarily representative of the manufacturing quality which can be expected from production pressings...This approval must be returned before a quantity order is placed in our factory." Condition: Records are near mint. Generic covers have hand-written information including artist, title, and serial number. Each cover has a date of May 4 (1964).
