Cover is VG+ with rub marks on back. Comments: Charles Bud Dant was head of West Coast A&R (Artists & Repertoire) for Decca Records in the 1960s. He produced The Irish Rovers' 1968 hit "The Unicorn", served as executive producer of William Shatner's notorious 1968 album "The Transformed Man", and was given "Produced for Records by" credit on many mid-to-late 1960s soundtrack albums issued on Decca. He was also credited as the orchestra leader of Charles Bud Dant and his Orchestra for some Decca releases including "The Golden West" (Decca DL8480.) In the 1970s, he was the Executive Director of the Association for Hawaiian Music which was based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The board of directors included Webley Edwards, Chet Atkins, Jerry Byrd, Marty Robbins, Gordon Jenkins and many Hawaiian celebrities including Charles K.L. Davis, Jack de Mello, and Keiji Kawakami. He was born June 21, 1907 in Washington, Indiana and died October 31, 1999 in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
