The outer gatefold cover shows an exciting color photograph of the 1961 race in action with the grandstands filled to capacity. The inside sleeve shows "early and present day" photographs of the "500" mile race in action, and also features side-bar articles on the outdoor testing lab, the United States Auto Club, Past Presidents of the Speedway, the Speedway Museum, and background information on the original song "The 500" by Joe Jordan. The back cover gives important information on all past winners of this classic race, dating from 1911 to 1961. It also shows a photograph of the 1961 winner A.J. Foyt. The sealed manila envelope that contains the record provides the song titles on the front, and the words to the song "The 500" on the reverse side. Condition: Record and sleeve are both sealed, unplayed, and in mint condition.
