9 How They Lived books
This listing has 9 different titles in the How They Lived series. All are ex. library HBs. All came from the Gov. Baxter State School for the Deaf. All are in Good condition: pages are crisp and clean in all the books or show very slight handling; bindings tight; 5 or 6 of the books have some damage to the back end page from the check-out slip being removed (look at the 4th photo); covers in great shape; withdrawn is stamped inside each book once or twice. It looks like all of these books have hardly been touched. Each book is 95 or 96 pages long.
". . . the How They Lived series was developed by Garrard [the publisher] to give meaning to the study of American history. Old prints, engravings, and paintings of the period, further enrich the authentic text." These books were published from 1967 to 1971.
