Vintage original 11x14 in. U.S. title lobby card, very good condition.
The silent film crime drama UNDER THE ROUGE was released in 1925 by Encore Pictures and directed by Lewis H. Moonmaw. The image features a close shot of the film's star, Tom Moore (as Whitey), as he looks pensive while being incarcerated for blowing a safe with a fellow criminal. This vintage original title lobby card is unrestored in very good condition only with a 0.75 in. diagonal crease on the top left corner with signs of wear on the tip of that corner; one pinhole in the top border and one in the bottom border; a small chip on the top right corner with a 1 in. semi-circular crease in the top border near this corner; a 1 in. and a 1.25 in. vertical crease in the right border below the top corner; a 2 in. diagonal crease on the bottom right corner with a small chip on the tip of that corner and signs of wear in that general area; a small printer's error in the bottom border to the right of center; a 0.5 in. diagonal crease on the bottom left corner; and a 0.5 in. crease on the left border below the center. The colors are fresh and vibrant and the design features a nice image of the film's star.
