Israeli army new Rimon badge

This is the current badge of sayeret Rimon unit.

The unit was formed again in 2010 after operating between 1970-2005 at the southern border and dealed with the terror coming from the Gaza strip.

The new unit is a desert commando and part of the Givati brigade.

This commando unit specializes in desert warfare and deals with Sinai terrorist infiltrations in southern Israel.

Participated in the Strong cliff clash in 2014 where it killed 50 terrorists and destroyed a few attack tunnels.
