How to tell if your iphone is a 3g:

  • The model number on the back case is:
    A1324 on the iPhone 3G (China)
    A1241 on the iPhone 3G
  • The back case is made of plastic.
  • The imprint on the back of the phone is less shiny than the Apple logo above it.
  • The serial number is printed on the SIM tray.


The Digitizer is the outer part of the screen which is the part that you actually touch when using the Iphone. Please don't confuse this with the LCD which is the part that produces the picture. The digitizer sold here is what you can use if there's cracks in the screen but the display is still working fine.
