The TM-212 signature indicates that this lovely piece was handmade in Taxco, Mexico, by a silversmith who was the 212nd smith to register a mark in the Taxco assay office with a last name beginning with the letter M. This letter/number mark system was introduced circa 1979 to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling silver (i.e. 925) standard.
As it is preferable to most vintage/antique jewelry collectors that older pieces maintain their patina I don't polish vintage/antique pieces. However, if you prefer to have the bookmark polished, please let me know and I will shine it up before I mail it to you.
It is extremely important to me that you are satisfied with your purchase, so, if the bookmark is not as described, please contact within 5 days of receipt (I cannot process a refund if you do not contact me prior to any return) and return it to me in the same condition as it was when I send it to you, and I will happily refund your payment, including original S&H.
As with any pre-owned items, there may be signs of age. I do my utmost to take and present photos that accurately depict the item for sale, including any blemishes/damage. If you have any questions prior to purchase, please let me know and I will get back to you asap. I cannot offer refunds for buyer's remorse, failure to read terms or descriptions, or for not asking questions not answered in the listing.
S&H charges for places outside of the 48 contiguous United States will be calculated based on the weight of the package.
I will always combine shipping costs whenever possible.
