Essentially a history of the American Legion activities in Tennessee both as to service given to the country in war through the civic activities which have become associated with organizations such as this.  It is exhaustive in biographical and photographic information in both areas and has in addition a Relief Map of The Western Front (WWI) printed on tissue paper and "tipped-in) to the volume. Laid-in is a handwritten note from a reseacher in 1957 who apparently used this copy to further the preparation of a volume which was to update the history of the Chapter.
