Israeli army Netzach Yehuda pin

This is the IDF Netzach Yehuda (97 Battalion) pin.

The unit was formerly known as the Nahal Haredi, because in belonged to the Nahal.

Established in 1999 by the IDF in conjunction with rabbis and Defense Ministry, to allow orthodox soldiers combine combat military service and religious lifestyle.

Until 2008 the regiment was under the command of the Jordan Valley brigade. At the end of that year the regiment moved under the command of the "Menashe" brigade in the Jenin area. The battalion is part of the Kfir Brigade.
