THE GIRL FROM HOLLYWOOD
Edgar Rice Burroughs

Facsimile dust jacket for the first edition, second state book. Published about 1925-27ca.

A restored facsimile dust jacket for the first Macauley first edition second state for The Girl From Hollywood. This will the book with the coarse woven cloth with green-yellow lettering (like in the first state of the book-or similiar to it), but has type damage on the back of the title page and on line 6 of page seven. The ads on the rear panel of the dust jacket and publisher's address are different than in the first state jacket. The book is 7-9/16 inches high.

The jacket was restored by artist John Anthony Miller  and archival ink and special paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a Mylar  jacket protector, ready to put on the book. Please see the photograph.  Edgar Rice Burroughs is still the greatest escapist-fantasy-romance-adventure author who ever lived. All his books read well today, just as they were written since the early 1900's. Archival inks and paper used.
