#12 in the series.
This lovely book had its first home in Georgia. Attached is a picture of the Norcross Woman's Club, the site of the first Gwinnett County Public Library, where it was read by little Southern belles, who took good care of it. No writing or disfigurement. No looseness, maybe because library-bound books are extra sturdy, made for heavy use.
Some light general overall grundge soiling of page block but remarkably clean, unmarked and undamaged for a library book. Some spine slant.
So - a FIRST EDITION Applewood with original text , four glossy Tandy illustrations, scrumptious dust jacket! But ... it is an ex-library item, complete with top block discreet library name stamp and small library front cover bar code, and spine label "J" for juvenile and author's last name. Security pad attached to inside back cover. Comes in a sturdy mylar protective wrap.
We like this book a lot, so we're inclined to want to call it in "very good" condition, but there are those out there who might use more head and less heart about this one, so we're classifying it as "good+," which means a technical "good" classification.
Good deal for this relatively-hard-to-obtain volume #12 in an Applewood.
