"Dancers" Solid American Bronze Statue Inspired by Louis Icart

A pair of ehuberant dancers having fun in a saloon. Very beautiful and detailed. Inspired by the etchings of Icart. Dimensions: 22"H x 10"L

About The Artist:

Louis Justin Icart was born September 12, 1888 in France. His second wife, Fanny, as well as the city of Paris, which was the uncontested international center of beauty and art, were his inspiration for much of his work. During his forty years artistic career, Icart delighted lovers of Art Deco, a fashion directed almost exclusively towards women on both sides of the Atlantic. Art Deco was a period of perfection of workmanship and this factor in Icart's work related him to the period.

Today, this witty, joyful and often poignant images of beautiful women of France have found a new generation of admirers.

This statue is reproduced in solid bronze by the "Lost Wax" casting process. It is made to order, hand made and hand finished and then mounted on a fine marble base.
