Came across this really cool vintage Garton Woody Pedal Car Station Wagon. This is from around 1937 to 1940. In overall good condition but ideally someone would restore this fantastic car. The front is made of metal and the back is wood. It was inscribed on the hood "to Tate" from "Grpa Jim", this will come right off with your finger nail. Seems to work but is a bit stiff. Like I said, it needs some work to make it a jewel. Shows wear due to age and use over the years. Couple wheels are a little wobbly. One wood arm rest is missing. Missing hood badge. Front wheels don't turn as freely as they should, so they will need some work done. The main thing is that this exists, there are only a few of them left out there. Picked up at an estate sale here in the OC. Overall its about 44" long and 19" wide and is 23" to the top of the windshield. Check the pic's as they are part of the description. If you collect pedal cars, this is a must have. Perfect for a restoration project as most of it is in tact. Or leave as is for display. I don't know if this is original paint or not, check the pics's and you decide. Local pick up preferred in H.bch, ca. If I ship it I will take off the winshield and maybe the steering wheel and tires to make for a smaller box. UPS charges by size now and not so much weight, so size matters. This will be a pretty large box. These are extremely rare and hard to come by. Selling as is. Compare to one that sold last year on ebay for $1710, ebay # 251479629597.
