This is the 10th piece of the Norse Goddess Hel Leather Fantasy Armor which is a Custom (one-of-a-kind) Waist Belt that was specifically made for a fantasy Viking Mythology character for a renaissance faire. This is designed with the Norse Goddess "Hel" in mind. She is the goddess of the underworld in Norse mythology and is half dead and half alive, therefore each piece of this unique costume is different representing this feature. Would be a great item for a Halloween costume or another fantasy faire and costume-con.

Description: This fantasy Waist Belt is split in half in design to portray both sides of the Goddess Hel representing both life and death. The death colors is a hammered textured black leather on one half with a sculpted bat wing-like appendages hanging from the side and front. The center of the belt is also split in design with a bat wing carved into the front and a bird wing carved with gold gilding. The other half is in a brownish-burgundy color trimmed also in gold gilding with more of a folded diamond shaped appendages hanging from it. It has two straps and buckles and measures approximately 7" inches long by 6-1/4" inches wide in the front where the carved wings are. The actual belt width is 3-1/8" inches on the sides and back. The hanging appendages measure another 7-1/4" inches down from the bottom of the belt edge and range 4" inches wide on the black side to 5-1/4" inches on the burgundy side to 7" inches wide on the front piece. The straps allow for more expansion in the waist. It was designed to go over the leather breastplate corset piece. This is in Excellent Condition with no issues.

I will be parting out other pieces of this custom costume. There are arm braces or vambraces, shin leg guards, a skull eye patch, a single skull pauldron and a breastplate.
