The Sun Dance was the most spectacular and important religious ceremony of the Plains Indians of the 19th century. It was designed to bring renewal – the spiritual rebirth of its participants, harmony between all living beings, and the return of the all-important buffalo. Incorporating many of the sacred materials and symbolic elements of the Sun Dance ceremony into her design – a sage noseband, pictograph horses traveling from each of the four sacred directions, a white buffalo skull, a war bonnet sun graphic – this Montana graphic artist has created a Pony that represents the essence of the Sun Dance: renewal and balance, and the reaffirmation of relationships between people and nature.

This auction is for a brand new LOW numbered FIRST edition "Sundancer" Pony, complete with hang tag in its original box.

  • Manufacturing and finish flaws are common in mass produced items and may be present; they are not considered to be damage.
  • Story tags can become misshapen if they are pressed by the styrofoam packaging that encases the figurine. Should your Pony's tag be bent or creased please understand that that is how it arrived from Westland Giftware.
  • Items from Westland Giftware often arrive in boxes with shelf wear and/or shipping damage, and sometimes boxes are unglued. That is how I receive them; sorry, there is nothing I can do about it.
 
Brand new, never displayed.
Removed from box only for photos and to check condition and edition/number.

Stored in a smoke free environment.

I generally ship once a week on Friday afternoons; when I have a great volume of sales I ship more often.
You will receive an automated email with tracking information for your package when your shipping label has been printed.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are subject to additional shipping charges that may be imposed by the carrier. If your item will be shipped to one of these locations, contact me before bidding/paying to get a corrected shipping quote.

Shipments are insured. Should a claim need to be filed for a lost/damaged shipment, buyer agrees to cooperate as necessary in the completion of an insurance claim.
