A Vogue 9238…a Misses’ Dress Sewing Pattern in Size 14.

The pattern is cut and all the pieces are there.  The instructions are there.   The envelope is in very good condition with tanning, ink notes and tiny tears.  The envelope flap is still attached but most of it has been cut off for inventory control.  There is no copyright date but this pattern is mid to late 1970s.

Pattern Description

“Loose-fitting, above mid-calf length, A-line dress has oval neckline, front and back gathered to V-shaped yokes, pockets in side seams and back zipper closing.  Raglan sleeves are full-length gathered into buttoned band cuffs or short and flared.  Topstitch trim.  With or without purchased belt holding in fullness at waistline.”

Size 14: Bust 36”, Waist 28”, Hip 38”

Pattern comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and is shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert.  The zip bag is great for storing the pattern!
