1918 Old Type Gillette Standard Set No 460
 

  I Want to Apologize for My Photography Skills or Lack Thereof, Some of the Pictures Came out a Little Bit Too Dark!

  This vintage 1918 Gillette Old Type "STANDARD" has been previously owned & used through the years since it's manufacture.  Being manufactured in 1918 this Gillette is almost 97 Years old. It's amazing for this razor to be 97 years old it still looks great, faint flaws & all. The flaws of this Gillette are truly minor for a 97 Year old Razor.  This "STANDARD" has been re-plated and it looks marvelous, there are no flaws in this razor whatsoever.  The razor, blade boxes and case were given a light cleaning and polishing. Please refer to the pictures.
  
 The razor shows Absolutely No Signs of Wear. The teeth of the open tooth comb blade guard have withstood the test of time wonderfully, there is one slightly bent tooth, all the rest of the teeth are in good condition. The handle of the razor has No Stress Fractures. Also included are the two original blade boxes which are in Almost Mint Condition.

 The outside of the case is in Very Good Condition with all the chrome plating still intact, with just a small bit of wear that can be seen in the pictures. The case closes and stays shut. The inside of the case has not fared quite as well as the outside… Please refer to the pictures. Any signs of age only add to the character of a Vintage Razor!  It is a must have for a Gillette collector. There aren't many of these left and Gillette is in making anymore!
