Created Blue Sapphire in a Simple Sterling Silver Ring

This setting is a good, strong ring - No Filigree, No Twirlydoo's, Just the Stone and a Good Strong Band. It does a superb job of showing off a bright Created Blue Sapphire, without a bunch of other stuff getting in the way.

This is a simple ring, basically just a band with a 6mm round stone.

At SylvaRocks, all of our Sterling Silver is made with a state of the art alloy which modifies the traditional Sterling Silver alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid Germanium. Adding Germanium to the Sterling Silver results in a highly tarnish resistant silver. Since the resulting metal is still 92.5% pure silver, is still qualifies as Sterling Silver -- just better.
