THis is the neatest old white enamel and cobalt rim enamelware stackable lunch pail. It is two pots (one with lid) and the metal and wood handle frame.You can put hot things in the bottom or top. The way it is made , it stays until you rotate the top handle so things will not spill out. The company it advertises is Argocy victorian braces from the late 1800's .

According to the ad, "The most comfortable braces worn are the Armstrong and the Paxillu'Ventilated braces. The springs being nickel plated are warranted not to rub. Elastic without rubber." 'Ventilated braces. Especially suitable for hot climates.'
Acutally these were the precursor to suspenders.
