PLATE
Vintage china plate
with embossed scallop outer edge in a hunter green that fades to a light green. The border
has a filigree gold trim. Note that while this particular plate is not
stamped, others in this series are stamped "Limoges China"
on the back. These are antique plates with some light crazing on
the front and back that is not to obvious. Possibly
not Limoges porcelain, perhaps American china that was back-
stamped Limoges. These pieces are quite old with wonderful images
of birds as well as a couple of pieces that have deer. This particular
plate features a picture of a duck and duckling, by the edge of a lake.Measures 9 1/4 inches across.Has a mark on the plate that can be seen at certain angles.Looks to be permanent.See pictures..
