Quan Yen (Yin)

I know  very little about this doll but someone emailed me "This traditonal doll is the most symbolic in Japan. This dolls started in the 1920's till the 60"s.  The woman is asking for power and freedom..... just like the birds  in her arms." Her face is delicately sculpted and painted. She is holding a lotus flower in HER left hand .
