 
Vintage Fisher Price Fun with Food #2114 Mixing Center COMPLETE/VG++-EXC (I)
Here for your consideration is a VHTF, Vintage Fisher Price Fun with Food #2114 Mixing Center Play Set. This play set is 100% COMPLETE and is in VG++ condition. Manufactured between 1988-90, this play set features a child-powered mixer to use either mounted on its base or as a free standing unit. When the child squeezes the trigger, the mixer's blades move back and forth. When the child inserts the mixer's blades into the removable "frosting" in the bowl, it simulates a realistic mixing effect. No batteries are required for this mixer to operate. In addition, the child can remove the bowl from the mixing stand and manually stir the frosting using either the provided spoon or spatula. To increase the number of open-ended play opportunities, the child may pretend to mix other ingredients in the bowl by removing the frosting out of the bowl.
Components of this FUN-FILLED play set are:
1 RARE hand held mixer with 2 permanently attached yellow beaters and with Fisher Price written on the handle (VG+-VG++-some minor scuffs and extraneous marks; the marks will probably be irradiated during the cleaning process; marked yellowing on both sides and bottom of piece; mixer blades are flawless and still work effortlessly);
1 VHTF mixing center with an area on top for the accessory mixer, a hook in the rear of the piece to hang up accompanying measuring cups, and compartments to house the spoon and spatula that is provided (EXC++--some minor yellowing on center circle in middle of base; not visible while in play; does not affect overall functioning; rest of base is sparkling white; yellow-orange platform is flawless);
1 VHTF large red bowl with spout (VG-VG+--just found 3/4" L x 1/2" W melt mark on outside of red bowl along with a couple of minor scuffs; I'm not sure that these show in my photos but they are there);
3 RARE molded frosting inserts (e.g. chocolate, strawberry, vanilla) (EXC-NEAR MINT---chocolate icing displays one, 1/4" L indentation toward the upper rim of the frosting (EXC); other frostings are impeccable);
1 RARE red-orange 1/4 cup measuring cup (EXC++-NEAR MINT--light surface scratches);
1 RARE orange 1/2 cup measuring cup (NEAR MINT-MINT);
1 RARE blue spoon imprinted with Fisher Price and Made in U.S.A. (EXC++-NEAR MINT--few faint surface scratches and a couple of possible "nibbles" on the end of the handle--barely visible); and
1 RARE blue spatula imprinted with Fisher Price and Made in U.S.A. (MINT).
This is a WONDERFUL set to encourage and support a child's dramatic role-playing skills. Everything is child-centered and not reliant on batteries.
I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this set and all of its accessories prior to sending it to its new owner. My sets are IMMACULATE!

I SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CLEARED PAYMENT.
I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account. In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.
Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.
I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs. Once again, PLEASE wait to check out until I can combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE and can calculate their combined shipping rate via Fed Ex. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.

Remember that shipping to Australia can be quite expensive so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Also, Australian and Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your governments. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.
Last, but not least, I offer a 10% discount for orders totaling $125.00 or more.
