This vintage 6-tube AM radio aka "The Cotillion" (c. 1959) likely spent life in a harsh shop environment. It was found with a Cold War era CONELRAD monitor attached to the top and both were in poor condition externally. Very cool relic of the times. May be displayed as a collectable or fully restored but is also functional as-is.

We preserved the radio in the artisanal sense; it has all original tubes, exhibits good reception, sensitivity, tone and volume with no discernable hum.

Artisanal preservation means cleaned, stabilized and made presentable and functional with minimum deviation from originality. Power cord and "waxies" replaced but filter electrolytic is original. Cabinet/grill repainted in a similar original color. Speaker cone and grill plastic materials stabilized. Cabinet incidentals present; study pictures. 35W4 socket should be replaced as one tube pin is directly soldered from the underside. Tuning knob missing clear outer shell and is a bit stiff to turn.
