Nevada is probably the best cultivar of the traditional “boston” fern. It’s fast growing, dense, and deep green. I think these get a bad wrap because normally people buy them as full grown finished plants that are really ready to be transplanted. Starting off with a smaller plant will let it grow into it’s new surroundings rather than collapsing from stress and having to regrow.
