Description
This is a chic vintage two piece evening dress ensemble, from the 1960's.
Approximate size 2/4 - it fits my size 2 mannequin, which measures 32 - 27 - 35.5
No tags or labels - I believe it was professional seamstress made.
The fabric is gorgious - and so MCM!
Chartreuse green satin with a aqua brocaded floral.
Lined with avocado taffeta.
The set consists of a dressy jacket and long fitted sleeveless sheath dress.
THE DRESS
is a fitted sheath style, has a boatneck, deeply plunging back neckline, empire waist with underbust darts, sleeveless, long darts through torso, back lapped nylon zipper w hook and eye, and center back slit. Fully lined.
THE JACKET
has a foldback lapel, 3/4 sleeves with darts at elbow, princess seams, bust darts, shoulder darts, and bow detail.
One hook and eye front closure.
Fully lined.
Both pieces are in the most immaculate condition with no damage, no odors. Truly exceptional.
