US ARMY 1ST SPECIAL FORCES GROUP AIRBORNE PARA OVAL

The design for teal blue and yellow oval (submitted by the 77th SFG) was approved in 1954. 
It was later worn by every SFG except for the 10th which had it's own green and red oval (approved in 1952).
THIS oval (approved in 1954) was worn by every SFG except the 10th SFG unit around 1987 when distinctive ovals began to be approved for individual SFGs. Merrowed edge, cheese cloth backing.
