Description
This is the cutest vintage late 60s / early 70s maxi party dress.
Vintage label: Joan Leslie by Kasper. Also has a label from Harzfeld's, a venerable luxury department store that was here in Kansas City since the 1800s. It went out of business in the early 1980s.
Marked a size 10. Smaller compared to modern sizes - shown on a size 2 dress form, which. measures 32-27-35.5.
Fabric is a synthetic organza over polyester lining. No content labels.
The organza is printed with a mod floral in lime, avocado green, purple, black, white, pink, and aqua.
Fitted bodice with self binding around neckline.
Darts at waist. Darts at back shoulder.
Sleeveless.
Fit and flare bias cut skirt.
Back nylon zip. There is an overlap with slit on the outer layer of the skirt, with snap fasteners.
Thread belt loops. Original sash missing. Replaced with a satin ribbon.
The hem is the standout feature - longer front and back, shorter on the sides, with wide ruffle edging.
Lined with blue silky poly.
Such a cute 70s/MCM era look!
Excellent condition, with the exception of the original missing sash.
