The detailed dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The anti-reflective coating ensures great legibility even in the harsh sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel with a black PVD surface finish and the watch stays on the hand thanks to a well-crafted black rubber strap with a black thorn buckle.

The steel shield-shaped case, designed by Richard Arbib for Hamilton in 1957, is the unmistakable and main feature. What is most interesting about this model, however, is that when the right button is pressed, the digital display, including the symbol in the middle, lights up bright blue.

The water resistance of the watch is 100 m (10 ATM), so it can handle even more contact with water, such as swimming.
