You will receive 5 Wild Ginger Roots Organically Grown in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. The roots you will receive will be ready to transplant or for medicinal use.
Planting:
In a well-prepared bed, plant the rhizome in the ground, right below the soil surface, with the bud pointed upright. Space rhizome pieces 6 inches apart with rows 6 to 12 inches apart. Add a thick layer of mulch, using hardwood leaves or shredded hardwood bark. The mulch should be raked back to a depth of 1 to 2 inches before the plants emerge in the spring.
