Black and white photographs by Jacques Chepard with accompanying descriptions and reminiscences by Gladys Taber, the prolific author whose output included plays, essays, memoirs, cookbooks, and fiction. Taber (1899-1980) is best remembered for her series of books and columns about her life at Stillmeadow, a 17th-century farmhouse in Connecticut.
