What is Baltic amber?
Baltic amber is fossilized resin produced by pine trees thrived in Northern Europe about 50 million years ago. Carried from the forest floor by rivers, it made its way southward to the sea. Over time, the resin underwent polymerization and oxidation, transforming into amber.
