Description

Cultivation

Prefers humus-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Protect from strong winds to prevent foliage damage and from harsh afternoon sun in hotter summer regions. Water deeply, regularly during first growing season to establish root system. Fertilize in early spring. In colder climates, shelter or move indoors before the threat of frost. Zone 9-10 or keep potted for relocation during cold temps. Full sun, fertilize with 16-10-10 during growing season, 2 times monthly.
