Description
TLS letter from Franklin Roosevelt from the White House to his personal friend Morgan H.Hoyt residing at the Hampton Hotel Albany,New York. The letter dated June 14th 1944, brings FDR to have a sentimental burst of emotion as he states old friends are the best which gives him strength and courage in these strenuous times." This statement was quite poignant as D-Day was had occured 8 days prior and Allied victory was still on fragile ground? Letter comes with the original mailing envelope.
