18th Century Silver, mother of pearl inlay tobacco box. Great piece 18th century to very early 19th century. High content solid silver mounting with brass hinge. Mother of pearl inlaid in another type of shell or horn. Inscription on reverse side. Sponge inside held in place by a wax seal. Strong box with good hinge, overall crazing to shell/mother of pearl.
