As the active ingredient dimenhydrinate is only contained in a small dose, you avoid severe symptoms of fatigue, and the gastrointestinal tract is also protected by taking the active ingredient through the mouth. Dimenhydrinate is an H1 antihistamine that inhibits the histamine receptors in the brain and thus suppresses the stimulation of the vomiting center in the brain.
