The ACO story is rooted in Sweden with a deep scientific heritage. Founded by the Apotekarsocieteten who sought a quality stamp for their skincare products originally developed and created in the pharmacies, the name ACO was chosen as an abbreviation of Apotekens Composita, meaning “the pharmacy's mixture.”

ACO was already launched in 1939 and is a Nordic skin care and pharmaceutical company. ACO has its own research and its own development laboratory with the development of skin care products for the Nordic market. ACO is today a leader in skin care in Swedish pharmacies and has a good range for different skin types.
