The PHYSIOGEL Calming Relief AI Body Lotion is a light, anti-itch skin care product for sensitive, irritated and dry skin. It relieves itching and redness thanks to a skin-soothing complex of skin-related lipids and palmitoylethanolamine (PEA). It also moisturizes dry skin, which is particularly important for neurodermatitis patients, as their skin releases too much moisture and dries out due to a disruption of the skin barrier.

At the same time, this makes it particularly easy for allergens, germs and irritants to penetrate dry and cracked skin, which intensifies symptoms such as itching, inflammation and swelling. The skin-related lipids and moisturising ingredients in Physiogel support the skin barrier by compensating for the lack of natural moisturising factors and lipids caused by atopic dermatitis. This enables the skin to better fulfil its protective function against environmental influences and pathogens.

The body lotion is also free of fragrances and preservatives. Atopic dermatitis is one of the atopic diseases, i.e. forms of illness such as asthma or many allergies that trigger an exaggerated immune system reaction when in contact with allergens and other irritants. Basic care with Physiogel
The basic care for neurodermatitis is intended to reduce the need for and frequency of treatments with cortisone-containing creams and other prescription active ingredients for topical and systemic use.
