is the title of the 2009 Bing and Grondahl Christmas plate, the 115th plate in the series – the longest running and most popular series of collector plates ever produced. A family of deer stands quietly in the woods on a cold winter night. The Christmas Star (a feature of almost all B&G Christmas plates) is seen burning brightly in the night sky.
The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Diameter 7.25 inches. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Marked on the back with the Three Tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl. Artwork by Jørgen Nielsen.
