A money talisman necklace used  in the Andes to attract prosperity, the image on this money charm is "Ekeko", the abundance and prosperity spirit.  On the reverse of the pentacle charm is Saint George, a Christian a sign of hope, slaying a dragon, symbolising fear, and the words "Salud, Dinero y Amor”, Spanish for "Health, Money and Love”.

In sympathetic magic rituals known as "K’oas", effigies of Ekeko are loaded with miniatures of what his followers hope to receive and he is given coca and cigarettes, while the Pachamama, the earth mother, is offered llamas. Their fetuses are buried beneath cornerstones of new homes or businesses during a ch’alla ("ritual blessing”). More prosperous natives will sacrifice a live mature llama, and poorer Andeans will make do with a ball of llama wool. With this in mind, I have added a chord in llama wool to this money talisman. No animals were harmed in the making of this personalized charm necklace!
