Sears solid state stereo 8 track vintage,**** READ DETAILS: powered by 6 D batteries, does turn on when 8 track is put in, you can switch tracks, it will display which track is playing and you can hear it operating, switching to next track, but no music- not sure if it's the 8 track (only one tested), or the actual player itself.*****
