Vintage LG Wright Glass Amber Knobby Back Large Turtle Covered Dish Rare Retro

An L.G. Wright Glass Co. designed candy dish in the turtle/tortoise shape, which was manufactured between the 1940's and 1980's. It is likely that the Westmoreland lass Co. or Fenton did the actual manufacturing in the Wright mold as the L.G. Wright did not do their own. The turtle looks to be walking with its head turned to the side.

The shell is the lid for the candy dish. 

Excellent condition. No chips, one small crack on the underbelly see pictures. 

Not sure of exact year of manufacture, marking the items produced was not common.

Lighting can change color of the rich amber hue
