A list of Appointments at Training Camp Funston in Leon Springs Texas , dated August 8, 1917, an Extract of officers accepting appointments at Camp Funston in Leon Springs Texas, dated August 14, 1917. Includes a War Department Letter dated March 25, 1929 about accepting a Commission, An Headquarters Eighth Corps Area document dated October 1, 1929 about a Promotion to Captain ( 2 copies), A War Department letter dated August 30, 1929 about promotion, An 8 page document Dated May 10, 1929 about Memorandum of Information concerning Officers' Reserve Corps. Plus a series of 5 letters in 1942 between in George Hughes and the Army in which he requests a reentry into the United States Army as A Major . Interesting reading.
