Sarah Houde started out as a Marine biologist, and then turned to pottery. Her studio is in Hollywood, MD where she creates clay work inspired by nature and the marine environment.
Sarah has created stoneware fish platters for 35 years, which are fun and functional and are created one at a time
Known for produce baking, serving, and everyday use pieces in patterns using lace, plastic mesh, shells, handmade stamps and sprig molds, and shells to create the layers of texture and detail her claywork is known for
